Responding to steadily increasing demand for video performance on NTT DoCoMo, Inc. FOMA mobile phones, PacketVideo Corporation today announced that Mitsubishi’s new D901i FOMA phone features PacketVideo’s industry-leading pvPlayerÔ multimedia software for high-quality video streaming, plus local video and audio playback. The new D901i mobile phone features “slide direct” design for fast video viewing and phone calling action, with video at up to 30 frames per second on a 2.4-inch QVGA display.
